Cycling in Spain

9 days (8 nights) fully supported ride (Madrid start and finish) take on the famous climbs of La Vuelta Espana and where possible La Vuelta race viewing.

Finishing with the grand finale in downtown Madrid. You’ll love the northern coast of Spain and the Basque region, not to mention the seafood, wine, coffee, tapas, et al.

It’s the final of the big tours for the year and a chance for riders to get themselves known. The Spanish La Vuelta is one of the hardest in terms of climbing (for the pros). For Topbike riders there are certainly some gradients to contend with but the pace a little more relaxed.

Cuisine is very regional, small villages are still authentic and un-touristed, the weather a comfortable autumnal feel with a hint of summer evenings. No hurry getting out of bed as Spain starts and finishes everything late – so sleep in for a relaxing holiday.
