EACH DAY: Distances are meaningless in the French Alps. 1000m vertical minimum each day with some difficult gradients.

Climb in the heart of the French Alps.
Ride a double Alpe d’Huez before the pro’s do in the 2026 Tour de France.

This tour is a climber’s heaven.

Each day we will tackle at least one climb, some days two with most days a minimum of 1000m vertical. Our one location is a renovated farm Chalet in the heart of the French Alps at the base of Alpe d’Huez. Unpacking just once allows plenty of relaxation and recovery. Each evening we will dine at a different restaurant which will allow for a of variety of French Cuisine.

Ride the traditional approach up Alpe d’Huez and also the Col de Sarenne approach.

Topbike’s French Climbs is the perfect warm-up tour for anyone staying on to follow the 2026 Tour de France.

Emma, David and Betty lived in Bourg d’Oisans in 2024 and so this tour really feels like showing off the best location for road cycling in the world!
